Grace Lee is a Partner and the CFO of Qiming Venture Partners leading the firm’s fund operation, and supporting the USD fund raising and investor relations. Grace has extensive experience in the venture capital industry covering investment, portfolio management, fund operation and fund raising.  Prior to joining Qiming in 2009, Grace was the Deputy CFO and Compliance Officer of C.V. Starr Asia. Previously, Grace was an investment professional dealing with private equities and listed securities when she worked at BNP Paribas and JAFCO Asia.  Grace was an auditor in the early part of her career life. 

She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of London.  She is a fellow member of HKICPA and a CFA charter holder. Grace is also a co-founder and the current co-chairman of Hong Kong Private Equity Finance Association, and a director of China Venture Capital Finance Organization.  Grace was named the Top 10 Most Influential CFO in the China VC/PE Industry in 2017 by China Venture.

John began his career in PwC New York. He returned to Hong Kong as an investment banker at Lehman Brothers in the late 1990s. John then built corporate M&A and strategic planning track record at the port and logistics division of Hutchison Whampoa. Before joining LKK Health Products Group, John spent twelve years at Landmark Capital, lastly as its Managing Partner.

John received B.S. Business Administration and Master of Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and PLD from Harvard Business School. John is CFA and CPA.

Alice is the COO of Unicorn Capital Partners responsible for the supporting the business and operations of the firm.  She has extensive experience in office setup and operations, people management, as well as business development in the investment fund related industries.  Prior to Unicorn, Ms. Chan served as the founding member and Head of Asia Private Equity Services of Silicon Valley Bank Hong Kong Representative Office.  Before her SVB HK tenure, Ms. Chan was Head of Private Equity and Real Estate of Alternative Investment Solution Team at State Street Bank (“State Street”) in Hong Kong whom established the new private equity fund administration operations in HK for the bank and had spent the following 5 years managing the business development and operational functions in Greater China.  Prior to State Street, Alice co-founded and managed the Client Onboarding Solutions Delivery Team for Fortis Prime Fund Solutions at Fortis Bank. 

Alice received her BA in Economics and Business Administration from Newcastle University, England.  She is also a Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountant of England and Wales.

Mr David CHEUNG joined Cowin Capital Group in early 2019 and is based in Hong Kong, focusing on their USD Fund Management Business. Mr Cheung is a seasoned finance professional in the fund management industry with more than 20 years of experience.

Prior to joining Cowin Capital Group, Mr Cheung was the CFO of Fountainvest Partners from 2011 to 2018. Earlier, he was also the CFO of CLSA Capital Partners from 2005 to 2011, Associate Director/Head of Finance & Accounting of AIG Global Investment Corp from 2004 to 2005 and Associate Director/ Head of Finance & Administration of Credit Agricole Asset Management from 1996 to 2004.  

Mr Cheung graduated with BA in Economics and MBA from Concordia University, Canada. He also holds Master of Accounting from University of Southern Queensland, Australia. Mr Cheung is a Certified Public Accountant in both Australia and Hong Kong.

Mr. Vincent Fok is the Chief Financial Officer of Boyu Capital, a China-focused investment firm. He has extensive over 18 years of practical experience in the investment fund industry. He received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and his MBA degree from the University of Chicago.

Mr. Fok is native of Hong Kong. He is member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).

Simon is the Chief Financial Officer of IDG Capital since 2000. He has over 15 years of experience in banking, finance and direct investment. Before joining IDG Capital, Simon was a Senior Manager of the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce in Toronto, Financial Controller of the Bank of Bermuda, Hong Kong, and a Director of Crosby Asset Management (Hong Kong) Ltd. He was also a core member of Crosby's China team, managing a London-listed private equity fund, and the China Investment Corp where he helped manage investments.

Simon received an MBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has obtained several accounting designations in Hong Kong, the United Kingdom and Canada.

Mr. Ip is the ex chairman of HKPEFA from 2014 to 2019. He is a Managing Director and a member of Investment Committee at China ASEAN Investment Cooperation Fund where he leads the investment team in sourcing, evaluating, managing and exiting private equity investments in ASEAN. Prior to that, he held a senior position with the private equity arm of the French bank, Natixis covering Asia (ex Japan) that focused on Private Equity Investment. He also co-founded a boutique SFC licensed buy side asset management firm in Hong Kong. He qualified with PwC London and Hong Kong where he held senior audit and advisory positions   He also served as a legal in house in the Legal division of the TMT business of Wharf Group (a blue chip listed on Hong Kong Stock Exchange).

He is a CFA Charterholder, a CPA and a FCCA and holds a LLB (Hons) from London University Law Schools and a BA (Hons) from University of Leeds (UK) and a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors.

Wendy is a seasoned executive with 18+ years of experience in private equity, venture capital and corporate reorganization. Most recently, she was an Investment Partner and Head of Investment Management with Omidyar Network, in which she has supported impact projects like Good ID with the World Economic Forum, and digital ID development with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa. Prior to relocating to the Silicon Valley, Wendy has led Sequoia Capital China as Chief Financial Officer and Operations Lead through its most aggressive growth period.  She was instrumental in aligning its legal, finance, tax, and HR departments into one cohesive team to scale up investment and operational excellence.
 
Before venturing into the private equity and venture capital industry, Wendy was the Partner in Tax & Business Advisory Services with Ernst & Young. She was also the Regional Leader for Tax Accounting and Risk Advisory Services for central China region in which she developed the go-to-market strategy and successfully conducted SOX404 projects for U.S. multi-nationals. Wendy attained Partnership within 9.5 years of her career and was the youngest to be admitted into the Ernst & Young partnership in the China tax department. 
 
Wendy was awarded as one of the Top 10 CFOs in the private equity and venture capital industry in China for 2015.  She has a deep interest in the entrepreneurial eco-system and has founded the Joint Association to Develop Entrepreneurship (JADE) to promote knowledge sharing between the Silicon Valley and Hong Kong.   
 
Wendy received an executive MBA from Kellogg School of Management, a Master of Applied Finance and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne.

Lie Ming Or is the Executive Vice President of Citco Fund Services overseeing Citco's private equity business development for Asia Pacific. She has over 15 years of financial services experience across alternative investment funds, funds structuring, capital raisings, due diligence, mergers & acquisitions, valuations, business development, and relationship management. 

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Western Australia.  She is a Fellow member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, a Fellow member of FINSIA, and a member of Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Siu is the Chief Financial Officer of Orchid Asia Group, an asset management group which focus on equity investments in China.

He received his Bachelor of Business in Accounting and Finance and an M.B.A. from the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia. Mr. Siu is a native of Hong Kong. He is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) and CPA Australia (CPA (Aust.)).

Dennis Wu is the Executive Director in Culture and Tourism Investments Group of CITIC Capital since July 2017. He has been with the firm for more than 16 years and was previously in our Finance Department as an Executive Director. Prior to joining CITIC Capital, Mr. Wu worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Arthur Andersen’s Financial Services Division​.

Mr. Wu obtained an MBA in Accountancy from The Chinese University of Hong K​ong and a BBA (Finance) from the University of Southern California (USC).​​​​
