Simon is the Chief Financial Officer of IDG Capital since 2000. He has over 15 years of experience in banking, finance and direct investment. Before joining IDG Capital, Simon was a Senior Manager of the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce in Toronto, Financial Controller of the Bank of Bermuda, Hong Kong, and a Director of Crosby Asset Management (Hong Kong) Ltd. He was also a core member of Crosby's China team, managing a London-listed private equity fund, and the China Investment Corp where he helped manage investments. Simon received an MBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has obtained several accounting designations in Hong Kong, the United Kingdom and Canada.
